The Glebe Art Show has a long standing tradition of bringing together artists who live or work in Glebe and giving them the attention they deserve. And not only that, but they have a formidable reputation of bringing some well-known artists and some not so well-known together to hang on the walls, creating a flowing display of art work through Benledi and the Glebe Library. Robyn Lawrence, the Co-ordinator, has watched the Art Show evolve into more and more works being displayed each year.

 

This year the Glebe Art Show will have its opening night on Friday 17 September with a Jazz Band and launched with an officialdom in charge of presenting the prizes. Long standing Chamber members Dr David Nuygen, The Toxteth Hotel, Ray White, Glebe Liquor, The Glebe Art Show and of course The Glebe Chamber of Commerce have donated the prizes. If you would like to enter pick up an entry form at the beginning of September from the Glebe Library. If you have entered work before an entry form will be mailed to you.
