The Glebe Chamber of Commerce aims to develop and assist business in the Glebe Community. As well as organising the annual Glebe Street Fair and hosting Annual Business awards, initiatives we are currently running to bring more visitors and customers to Glebe include: working with Tourism NSW and Council to promote Glebe as a destination for tourists and visitors to Sydney; cooperating with the Friends of Benledi to organise The Glebe Book Fair; and the annual event Glebe Week.
The Chamber works with other Glebe resident associations, City of Sydney Council and the NSW Government at all levels to encourage and plan the changes needed to continuously improve the Glebe commercial and Ccommunity precincts. We have taken an active lead in the Glebe Point Road Streetscape Management Plan and are presently lobbying for the reintroduction of the Glebe Ferry Service. Ensure your business achieves its best.
