ARTIST STUDIOSMonday 13th of October 2008The Glebe Chamber of Commerce manages the only Artist Studios in Glebe. They are situated behind Glebe Library and are close to all amenities. The studios are leased for a 12 month period at a rate of $50/week. Jewellers, Candle stick makers, ceramic artists, painters, costumiers, collage and hat makers. Glebe Public School DonationWednesday 23rd of January 2008Glebe Chamber President Paul Angell rallied behind Glebe Public School and presented a $350 cheque to sixth graders at Glebe Public School. Glebe Public School asked for help to make sure every sixth grader could go to a school camp. The camp was for five days and by all accounts a great success. Parking MetersTuesday 22nd of January 2008Chamber is committed to improving the availability of parking in Glebe. We continue to lobby the City of Sydney to have the meters on Glebe Point Road switched off in the evenings. A submission about a longer term plan for the Village is in preparation.
